Spotify is set to integrate Apple’s HLS (HTTP Live Streaming) video machinery, developed for podcasts. Clearly, the intent is to enhance the video playback experience and empower creators with the ability to distribute their content quickly across multiple platforms simultaneously.
With the HLS framework in place, the video streaming element will get adjusted dynamically, while the internet connection speed will be checked for buffering and certain playback issues.
Discount this, even the users’ respective internet speeds would hamper any podcast streaming.
In short, the high-speed Wi-Fi or any sluggish networks will no longer be a hurdle.
HLS To Take Off This Year:
This year, we will witness the HLS integration, which would ensure stability and consistency for video podcasts, and this will be a boon to creators as they would be able to broaden their reach beyond the set boundaries of Spotify.
Third-Party Podcast Hosting Platforms:
The company, on this front too, is flexing its muscles. As a result, relying on Libsym, Podigee, Audioboom, Andiomeans and Podspace will be able to publish video podcasts directly on Spotify, and the revenue stream will be strengthened through Spotify’s partner program.
Feature Is Embedded Already:
The company declared that the stipulated system has been in place since the beginning of this year.
Many Other Tools Are Programmed:
Certain tools useful in monetisation, like direct sales and exclusive partner integration, are also in the loop, which would open new ways for the creators to earn income through featured video clips.
Video Podcasts Are Central To Spotify Platform Roadmap:
In the past years, the trend has come to light. The company unveiled a video podcast in 2020 and has been consistent in broadening and evaluating creator access, and has also unlocked earning avenues
through the tools meant for monetising.
Eligibility Requirements Lowered By Spotify:
In the beginning of the year, the company reduced the eligibility requirements as it intended to encourage a big number of creators to get aligned with the format.
The company declared that a high number of users, say 39 million, had connected to Spotify to stream a video on it, in November last year.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman Hails India’s Love for ChatGPT Images 2.0, as users create 1 billion images
Since its launch, Indians have crafted over 1 billion ChatGPT Images 2.0, and OpenAI CEO gleams at the outcome.
In April of this year, the company unveiled ChatGPT Images 2.0, which is an enhanced form of their picture-generating framework.
As they heralded the new mode, OpenAI harped upon the objectives that the new model would manage image-related tasks, which are complex and challenging and would help users generate accurate and useful graphics in a jiffy.
Altman took to X and shared: “ChatGPT Images 2.0 (loves) India.”
It’s simply jaw-dropping to see that a huge number of photographs, say over 1 billion in number, have already been created here.
As stated earlier, ChatGPT Images 2.0 was initially released in April and in a short time, it gained massive popularity in India. Interestingly, there are tens of thousands of takers of ChatGPT Images 2.0 in India, as a news release from OpenAI claimed earlier this month.
The business added, “ChatGPT’s latest image model is quickly becoming part of India’s internet culture, especially among young users experimenting with identity, aesthetics, and storytelling online.”
In India, the largest ChatGPT Images 2.0 trends were declared by OpenAI earlier this month. The most popular ones are:
· Universal Lighting → turning everyday photos into dramatic studio-style portraits
· Headshot → polished LinkedIn, creator, and celebrity-style profile images
· Anime → manga-inspired transformations and stylised avatars
· Spring → soft pastel, dreamy seasonal aesthetics
· Style Me → AI-generated fashion transformations and outfit concepts
· Flash → paparazzi-style editorial imagery
· Fantasy Newspaper → users creating fictional newspaper covers starring themselves
· Enhance → restoring and upgrading older or low-quality photos
· Tarot → mystical card-inspired portraits and storytelling visuals
· Blueprint → futuristic architecture, room redesigns, and visual planning concepts
Similar to many other nations and subsequent marketplaces, country-level prompts are gaining popularity in India, too.
The most favourite ones are Y2K love portraits and cinematic portrait collages.
“The trend reflects how AI image generation in India is increasingly blending with creator culture, fandoms, fashion, and social media identity, rather than being limited to traditional “AI productivity” use-cases.
And if the first week is anything to go by, ChatGPT Images 2.0 may be less about replacing creativity, and more about giving millions of people a new visual language for the internet,” the release declared.
