5G denoting 5th generation mobile technology, is basically the most refined version of cellular communication which has spellbound global villagers at length spanning industries, institutions and every social quarter across the world with the promise of consistent video-conferencing and express video-game streaming. Truly, 5G , developed through exclusive coding just 3 years ago in 2017, has gathered a popular momentum hugely ever since. However, this won’t be wrong to claim that every cellular generation has contributed to the society within its own scope, pursuing technical refinements subsequently by unleashing unique levels of premium digital connectivity. But 5G technology equips manufacturing with greater flexibility and apt case to consider is about the Ericsson, a prominent telecommunication company which has resumed production amid smart setting crafted digitally in their factory located in Texas, US, where 5G antennas are being manufactured by robots linked with 5G technology.
As for the company, new alleys are being explored to adapt to such technology in more trusted and safer form, while technology has already been sensed to be more refined, unleashing unprecedented capabilities.
Further in the offing, Las Vegas leaves the world thrilled, with its enhanced urban footing, manoeuvred by 5G as traffic lights and road cameras are now networked to endure peak hour efficiency. Without doubt, such tech-enabled roads would be best suited for driverless trend while strengthening commuters’ safety, as moving vehicles would discuss with smart roads seeking uninterrupted drives.
5G Dawn In India:
Discussing about India, just yesterday, India roared before the world, about such ultra-advanced tech advent which would take off later next year. But to make this 5G step palatable, RIL chief Mukesh Ambani accentuates upon some policy framework and the fact that such scenario would be fed by a selected network, hardware and components which would need to be manufactured indigenously.
The thing is that strategic collaboration was cemented in October this year, comprising Jio Platforms Ltd owned by Reliance Industries from Indian side and Qualcomm Inc flourishing in US with the intention of 5G developments and to push concerted efforts to introduce premium networks imbibing high-speed to shore India. Mr. Ambani, while attending 43rd annual general meeting of RIL, revealed, “Jio has developed a complete 5G solution from scratch. This will enable us to launch a world class 5G service in India using a 100% homegrown technology and solution”.
He placed hopes in made-in-India solution which would be placed in field in the coming year and by the virtue of which, Jio will be enabled to upscale its 4G framework onto the next level. Not surprisingly, we all shall be enabled to witness data speed even faster and communications will be marked by low latency while digital users will be thrilled by associated use and unique experience enabling inter-device connectivity combining smartphones, laptops, devices meant for VR as well as IoT.
Making this possible, Jio Platforms, unravelled such unrivalled digital goals and was able to raise 1.52 trillion Indian rupees from key players with Google and Facebook at the front. On the other side of the 5G spectrum, Qualcomm Ventures, which is an arm made stronger for Qualcomm Inc, precisely for investment, pitched in 730 crore of Indian rupees in Jio Platforms which is just 0.15% of share of the whole project.
