Zelensky was criticized by Trump on his Truth Social platform, claiming that “he disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office”.
“Not ready for Peace,” Trump wrote of Zelensky. “He can come when he is ready for Peace.”
Trump’s statement that Ukraine must make “compromises” in peace with Russia—which has taken large areas of Ukraine and destroyed entire villages and towns along the way—caused the remarkable meltdown.
Deals cannot be made without making concessions. Trump stated, “He will undoubtedly need to make some concessions, but hopefully they won’t be as significant as some people believe.”

Trump eventually cancelled a planned lunch and press conference with Zelensky after the meeting reportedly descended into a shouting fight.
Russia Chuckles But Reacts With Harsh Terminology
The dramatic breakdown of U.S.-Ukrainian relations was celebrated by Russian leaders, who rejoiced after President Trump and Vice President JD Vance brutally slapped Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the Oval Office on Friday.
Former Russian Prime Minister, President, and Security Council Deputy Chair Council Deputy Chair Dmitry Medvedev was ready to dance on the corpse of the U.S.-Ukraine alliance.
Medvedev commented on X, “The arrogant pig finally got a proper slap down in the Oval Office”.
Additionally, @realDonaldTrump is correct when he says that the Kyiv government is “gambling with WWIII.”
He articulated a message on his Telegram channel that Zelenskyy got “a fierce rebuke in the Oval Office,” and also remarked him as a “cocaine clown.”
“The ungrateful swine got a hard slap in the face from the owners of the pigsty,” Medvedev uploaded. “That’s a good thing, but not enough,” he simply repeated the popular Russian thoughts and likened the Ukrainian government to Nazis.
